Welcome to the Southampton GP Education Unit Website.

The GP Education Unit is a unique organisation bringing together support for Practitioners and Trainees covering Southampton City and Hampshire PCTs.

The GP Education Unit (GPEU) is lead by Professor Johnny Lyon-Maris, Associate GP Dean, whose aims are to lead and support the educational team, to monitor the standards of GP Training and on-going GP education locally and to liaise with a number of local organisations to ensure GP Education is of the highest standard.  The other members of the GP Educationalist Team are all part-time.
