FY2 in GP Small Group

Small Group Educational Sessions
This group provides the opportunity for F2 doctors on GP placement to meet up approximately every fortnight, with a typical group size of six and one facilitator. The peer support is extremely important during this time, as trainees can feel isolated in GP compared to hospital placements. The groups also provide a valuable opportunity to discuss interesting cases, hot topics, practice presentation skills, and an important caffeine break!

The training practices are fully aware and in support of these sessions, and trainees should use their CDP session to attend.

The sessions are facilitated by a Southampton GP Educator, and held at the Education Centre, South Academic Block, Southampton General Hospital.

For further information and dates for the sessions please contact the GPEU administraton team or check our Calendar of Events.
