The GP Educational Team facilitates and provides a series of courses aimed at stimulating GPs in their Continuing Professional Development as well as updating them on existing skills and knowledge. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you would like further information In addition to this there are weekly Lunchtime Meetings based at Aldermoor Health Centre, Bitterne Health Centre, Hedge End, Romsey, Forest Gate and Lymington (not all are on a weekly basis). These meetings are informal, lively and interactive. In addition to the central and locality courses a lot of activity takes place within the practices. This is normally practice specific but occasionally practices are willing to allow other GPs to attend their meetings. Also, there are regular Peer Support Meetings for Sessional doctors.
