Practice Education Accreditation Scheme (P.E.A.S.)
Anyone within the practice who organises practice education
It provides a structure, which should help with the development of practice-based education. It is supported by educational facilitators, who can come and help. The GP Tutor team will help to ‘underwrite’ the quality of the programme.
It will attract funding. (Practices which are accredited and where GPs are current full members of the WGPET, then during one year, provided that 8 events have occurred, £75 per GP member will be refunded to the practice)
No. It is a simple form, which can be completed with or without the help of an educational facilitator. (Worked examples are enclosed with the application form)
