Assessments: In each of the training years there is a minimum number of assessments that must be done and obtain satisfactory results. In each 6 months a trainee must perform: ST1 3 Mini-CEXs or 3 COTs 3 CbDs 1 MSF (with responses from 5 clinical colleagues) and if the post is in a GP Training Practice must be performed in that post, but only once in the year. ST2 3 Mini-CEXs or 3 COTs 3 CbDs, and if the post is in a GP Training Practice a PSQ must be performed in that post, but only once in the year and not if a PSQ was performed in the ST1 year. There is no MSF requirement for ST2 Doctors. Learning Log Entries: Your Learning Log is your personal learning record. Entries that you choose to 'share' will contribute to the evidence that your Educational Supervisor will consider at your 6 monthly educational reviews. It is an opportunity to discuss your training experience and feedback any problems which you may be encountering. Appointments are booked through Tess in the Education Unit. There is a three-month interview questionnaire, which should be completed and brought with you to discuss at the interview. The form can be downloaded here |
