At the start of each ST3 Training Day, one GP ST3 gives a 20-minutes presentation to the rest of the group, this should include time for questions afterwards. This session is called a 'Soap Box.' ST3s are asked to speak on a subject of their choice, usually choosing a non medical topic about something which particularly interests them. During this session ST3s choose to use a variety of media to support their presentation including; flip charts, power point, television / video. It provides an opportunity to practice what is an important skill in a relatively informal environment. The weekly rota, August - December 2010, is listed below.
