AKT Support Session - by invitation only

This is an afternoon event.

Times: 14:00 - 17:00

Drs Suzanne Bates & Tessa Lambton are running this one-off session for trainees who have had unsuccessful attempts at and are yet to pass the AKT. We will hear from previous trainees who were initially unsuccessful and went on to pass the exam, as well as discussing common difficulties with the exam, revision techniques and resources to help with future attempts. It will be held face to face in the GP Education Unit and will finish by 5pm. The session can be taken as CPD time that week in discussion with your practice.


Invitations have been sent to trainees eligible to attend this session.


At the time of posting, this session is expected to be face-to-face and take place at:

GP Education Unit, Level C, South Academic Block, Southampton General Hospital. SO16 6YD.

Face Masks at UHS - Please note that at the time of posting this event (29th November, 2022), University Hospital Southampton is maintaining the requirement for mask wearing throughout all areas of our hospital.

UHS rules must be strictly adhered to: these are as follows -

DO NOT attend if you have

  • Any covid symptoms or other respiratory symptoms
  • Recent history (last 10 days) of contact with symptomatic or positive household case
  • Recent history of a positive Covid test result

DO

  • Undertake routine lateral flow testing prior to the training session
  • Wear a mask on UHS premises
  • Maintain 1m physical distancing in your training session
  • Maintain Covid-appropriate hand hygiene procedures
