This is an afternoon event.
Times: 13:00 - 16:00
Dr Nicky O'Shaughnessy is running this AKT course for the April 2023 sitting: a minimum of three months preparation is advised to achieve a successful outcome in the AKT examination.
This is the second of 3 sessions prior to the exam.
Note this session starts at 13:00 (not at 14:00 as was originally scheduled.
You are expected to use your CPD time to be able to attend and all three sessions should be attended to gain the most out of the course. You can only attend this course once and so we would advise that you select the course relevant to your intended sitting. Remember, you are only eligible to sit the AKT once you are an ST2 and we would advise waiting until you have had some experience in a GP placement.
All ST2/3/OOS & OOP trainees (if appropriate) are welcome to attend. Email invitations have already been sent and trainees are required to respond in order to book a place.
At the time of posting, these sessions are expected to be face-to-face and take place at:
GP Education Unit, Level C, South Academic Block, Southampton General Hospital. SO16 6YD.
As with all GPEU training sessions, details are subject to change so please check the events page regularly.
