We are a large partnership on the East of Southampton that values

We are 13 portfolio partners with 9 non-principal GPs, ANPs, practice nurses, HCAs, reception, pharmacist and administrative staff. We are looking to expand our teams to deliver quality care to our 42,000 patients, that are in a variety of demographic areas from inner city to rural, through four main sites and three branches.

6 Sessions Maternity Locum Required- Whiteley Surgery

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join our innovative, high achieving and friendly practice at the heart of our suburban community in Whiteley, Fareham Hampshire. We are looking for a GP to cover a 6 session maternity locum for one year commencing in March 2020.  We would also be willing to consider a GP who wishes to take a salaried post now with the view of partnership in the future.

The Whiteley Surgery is close to major motorway networks and supported by excellent schools and colleges. The surrounding area is one of outstanding beauty being near the South Downs, New Forest and the Solent providing plenty of time for leisure activities.

Our supportive team of 5 partners, 2 salaried GP’s, nurse practitioners and specialist Nurse Led Clinics provide excellent, patient-centred care for our population of 13,200 patients from our modern and spacious surgery. We also provide a Same Day Access Service Hub at the local Fareham Community Hospital for ‘on the day’ activity in collaboration with two neighbouring practices.

Coastal Medical Partnership is a forward thinking, newly merged group of GP Practices based across 5 sites in New Milton & Lymington. Combining three successful Partnerships at The Arnewood Practice, New Milton Health Centre and Barton Webb-Peploe, we now have 21 GP Partners leading a clinical and non-clinical team looking after 34,000 patients.

As a practice we are passionate about the education and training of all health professionals. Salaried GP - Marchwood Surgery- 4 sessions

Marchwood Surgery, close to the New Forest seeks a 4 session salaried GP to join a supportive and almost complete (apart from you!) GP team.

We are a traditional GP practice and continue to look after our patients in a traditional style whilst adapting to changing times!

We are a training practice (with 2 trainees at present) using EMIS web and also employ 2 ANPs and 5 experienced practice nurses.

We are an active participant in the local PCN, which has already employed a social prescriber and pharmacist.

Maternity GP Locum (with a possible view to a permanent Salaried or Partnership role) – Testvale Surgery 

We are looking for a 6-month Maternity Locum GP (with a possible view to permanent Salaried or Partnership role) - to cover 7 sessions a week. Job share and portfolio careers welcome.

Initially, the role will provide maternity cover for one of our Partners for 6 months (from 20th April 2020), but this role could develop into a permanent salaried position or partnership role. 

Testvale Surgery are a fully staffed practice with seven partners, five salaried GPs and a well-established nurse team including an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and three practice nurses providing high quality care for our patients in Totton. 

Our list size of 13,150 is growing slowly and we work from our own modern, purpose built, air conditioned premises which comprise 12 consulting rooms, 5 treatment rooms and a fully equipped minor surgery suite. We also have a pharmacy on site and host NHS dermatology, musculoskeletal and psychological therapy clinics.

Alongside our GP team and to build on our sustainability, we are also introducing a new advanced nurse practitioner posts to work alongside our urgent care duty service to help manage on the day emergencies.

Testvale Surgery are a proud training practice, with a strong ethos of teaching and developing staff and all our salaried doctors have an allocated partner mentor. We organise regular internal clinical meetings and educational sessions.  

The practice achieves very high QOF scores and is commissioned to provide a range of enhanced services. The practice has also scored very highly in regard to patient feedback, including our Friends and Family and GP Patient Survey results, where in 2019, we were rated in the top three practices in West Hampshire.

Watership Down Health - Salaried GP

We are an outstanding training Partnership in rural Hampshire looking to recruit 1 GP to work as part of our wonderful team. This will initially be as a salaried GP. Our Partnership, which merged in October 2018 cares for a diverse population and has a skilled and experienced team which includes 7 partners, 5 salaried GPs, highly experienced practice nurses, paramedic, health care assistants and a clinical pharmacist. Alongside this we have excellent support from our cohesive management and administrative team and strong working relationships with the community based teams.

The practice has an embedded culture of training, teaching, staff development and learning. The Partnership will actively support and encourage salaried GPs to development any areas of special interest. A number of our current GP’s work with in the local CCG, as GPSI’s, in education or within the hospital. The Partnership provides a supportive environment for its salaried GPs and is keen to embrace innovative ways of working. We host medical students as well as training doctors at all stages in their career from Foundation years and at all stages of GP specialist training.

  • We are ideally looking for 1 GP to work 6 sessions per week over 3 days although we will look at supporting those with portfolio careers. 
  • We work across 3 sites and it is likely that some element of travel between these will be necessary at times. However clinical sessions will mainly be based at Kingsclere with occasional ones at Overton. We are happy to discuss the options at interview to try and best suit each other’s needs. 
  • Efficient triage/duty system supported by our paramedic who assists with our acute visiting.

Stokewood Surgery- Locum required- 3 to 4 sessions per week

We are looking for a three to four session locum GP  from April to end September 2020.  The main site is based in Fair Oak, Eastleigh with a branch site 1.5 miles down the road in Bishopstoke.  We would prefer the sessions worked over 2 days ideally.   We offer 6 weeks annual leave (and up to 1 week study leave) pro rata.  The locum would be expected to take a fair share of visits on both days (one visit included in session fee and any additional at £25 per visit).  We would also require a fair share of duty doctor sessions.  The GP would be expected to cover a fair share list of ‘usual’ patients.

  • We have 7 partners and by April will have 5 salaried GPs, 3 advanced nurse practitioners and a team of practice nurses and healthcare assistants plus a supportive reception and admin team.
